[C] Tea gathering with BENTO box and sake  Experience
(a seasonal light meal plus Experience A)

In Japanese tea ceremony, the most formal tea gathering is called “Chaji” and it takes about 4 hours. Chaji starts with the building of fire with charcoal in front of the guests and a Japanese course meal, and finishes with two types of tea, thick and thin Matcha tea. The hosts put heart into accommodating the guests and the guests enjoy while expressing the gratitude towards everything that the hosts prepare for them. One of the most enjoyable part in tea ceremony is where the menu of the meal and the tea utensils always change depending on the purpose of welcoming the guests or on the season.

In this Experience C, you can experience the meal part (we will make the course meal into a Bento box) and the thin Matcha tea with the tea procedure.

During this experience, first, the explanation of Japanese tea ceremony is given. After, we would like you to enjoy a glass of sake and a seasonal and colorful Japanese meal in a Bento Box under the light of candles. There will be a Japanese sweet after the meal. The tea procedure comes after and you can enjoy the thin Matcha tea during the procedure. You can also learn the manner to enjoy Matcha tea in a gathering if you would like. At the end of the experience, you can make a bowl of matcha tea yourself.

There will be tables and chairs. If you prefer, it is possible to have the experience on the Tatami floor.
